  • Strong general litigation skills, including research, writing, motion practice, discovery, and case management; experience with Proposition 65 and/or false advertising is a plus.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to assume responsibility and manage multiple client priorities.
  • Must be admitted to the California Bar and in good standing.

A desire to learn, take direction, and thrive in a collegial, team-based environment is essential. Successful associates at Keller and Heckman receive significant client responsibility and exposure to cutting-edge regulatory and health and safety issues.

Work environment

  • This position is based in our San Francisco, CA Office with a hybrid work arrangement consistent with the Firmโ€™s Telework Policy for Professionals. New lateral associates can expect to spend more time in the office initially to support onboarding, training, and collaboration, with increased flexibility over time based on experience and performance.
  • You will receive mentorship from partners and senior attorneys and have opportunities to second chair complex matters and develop client relationships.
