Technical Secretary


Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma
  2. Associate's degree preferred
  3. Proficient in technology
  4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Reports to:

Building principal

Career Goal:

To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Performs usual office duties.
  2. Maintains student records as required.
  3. Receive and route all incoming calls.
  4. Maintains a daily teacher attendance log, and the concomitant records for substitute teachers.
  5. Processes all changes and adjustments in student schedules after the second week of the school year.
  6. maintains a log of visitors to the school.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment:

210 days, salary and work year to be established by the Board.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
