Overview:

Team Lead 

SPAR Marketing Force is growing our overnight reset and remodel team! We are seeking a full-time Overnight Team Lead to lead a team of 8-10 fixture team members on retail remodel, reset, and fixture installation projects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in fixture installation, retail remodel, construction, or big-box retail. As the onsite Team Lead, you will help direct overnight crews, ensure work is completed safely and accurately, and maintain SPAR’s standards for quality, productivity, and professionalism.

Projects may include merchandising resets, shelving and fixture installations, steel racking, pallet racking, signage updates, and full retail remodels within national retail chains.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support an overnight fixture team of 8-10 team members
  • Provide on-site directions to ensure project tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
  • Perform overnight remodel work in big-box retail locations
  • Complete merchandising resets according to planograms, schematics, and project instructions
  • Relocate, assemble, install, remove, and replace retail store shelving, fixtures, steel racking, and/or pallet racking
  • Install and/or update signage, per store layouts
  • Read and follow blueprints, project plans, and store-specific instructions
  • Monitor quality of work and help resolve onsite issues professionally
  • Communicate project progress, concerns, and completion updates to leadership
  • Maintain organization of tools, materials, and work areas
  • Engage in considerable physical activity, including standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail remodel, fixture installation, construction, or big-box retail experience required
  • Prior team lead, crew lead, or supervisory experience required
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with an overnight team
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Ability to stand and work for 10+ hours
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, planograms, and project instructions
  • Experience using basic hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights up to 40 feet
  • Experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks preferred; must be able to become certified if not already certified.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
  • Personal cell phone and valid email address required
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Appropriate work footwear required on the job site (steel-toe shoes/boots or inserts)
