Outbound Operations Team Lead
4-Month Contract | September 2025 - January 2026
Location: Brighton, CO
Pay: $26.00/hour

Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift (Mon-Thu): 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 1st Shift (Fri-Sun): 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift (Mon-Thu): 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
  • 2nd Shift (Fri-Sun): 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Overview

We are hiring an Outbound Operations Team Lead to support daily shipping and distribution activities within a fast-paced sort center environment. This role is responsible for overseeing outbound workflows, coordinating loading operations, and ensuring freight is accurately processed and dispatched on schedule. The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily outbound operations, including staging, loading, and shipment preparation
  • Monitor workflow to ensure freight is processed accurately and shipped on time
  • Coordinate dock activities, trailer movements, and departure schedules
  • Assign work tasks and provide direction to warehouse associates throughout the shift
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards across the team
  • Coach and support employees to drive performance and accountability
  • Track operational metrics and communicate updates to site leadership
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or fulfillment operations
  • Experience supporting outbound shipping, loading, or transportation processes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Team Lead, Lead Associate, or Supervisory experience
  • Experience in sort centers, fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, or transportation hubs
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or transportation software
  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience
