What does a team lead do?

A Team Lead in the retail or service industry is an individual who takes on some managerial responsibilities for an organization while also coaching the employees within the team. The Team Lead provides customer service and works with clients directly, especially when there is a conflict. Team Leads have an excellent grasp of their products and can help increase overall sales. They may hold team meetings to provide updates and offer feedback. Those in this role also represent their teams at interdepartmental or leadership meetings.
