Job description

This position pays $12/hr

You play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable shopping experience for our guests. This dynamic role is centered around managing daily operations within our merchandise locations, and ensuring that our offerings align with the high standards of our brand. You'll be responsible for executing merchandising strategies, maintaining inventory, and promoting a culture of exceptional customer service


Job Duties and Responsibility:

Merchandise Lead functions include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

· Demonstrate excellent guest service skills and maintain a positive attitude towards Guests, Team Members and Management.

· Ensure all merchandise is attractively displayed and stock is maintained according to visual merchandising standards

· Develop and train employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices

· Analyze sales performance data to develop strategies for exceeding sales goals and improving store performance

· Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency

· Collaborate with area supervisor to plan promotional events and maximize merchandise visibility throughout the park

· Maintaining a neat, friendly, and pleasant demeanor

· Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, Point of Sale procedures, and inventory management

· Correct issues as they arise and bring any uncertainties to the attention of the Management Team promptly.

· Responsible for enforcing all Park and Department policies and procedures, effectively issuing discipline as needed.

· Develop basic understanding of damages, transfers, and orders Assist supervisor with handling daily inventory control functions.

· Maintain full compliance of all Cash Handling policies and procedures


Theme Park experience preferred

16 years old or older

Must be organized with excellent time management skills with ability to work flexible and varied shifts

Must be punctual and have a good attendance record

Good verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to interact well with internal team members while maintaining a professional atmosphere

Must be able to follow and uphold all Six Flags Policies and Procedures

Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs.
