Job description

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading global broadcast production company providing managed services to major broadcast networks, corporations, and studios. BMG is a top producer of live multicamera news, sports, entertainment, and corporate broadcasts, and is recognized as an industry trailblazer for its use of cutting-edge, innovative technology.
BMG is the leader in centralized technology with decentralized production teams, operating a Network Operations Center hosted at its Cloud Control Center™ along with a fleet of REMI mobile units. The company's business operations are in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Las Vegas.
We are looking to create a new Talent Booker to work out of BMG's Chicago office, booking. This position will report to the Director of Talent for instruction and guidance on the daily tasks required.
Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Research and book timely guests to appear on shows across the programming grid for Schwab Network
  • Coordinate logistics for guest arrivals and wrangle guests to the set for their appearance
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media relations and public relations contacts in the industry
  • Attend shoots and other production events as needed
  • Booking for The Schwab Network's Digital and Linear network.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Booking/Segment-producing finance-related content
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Able to work independently within a dynamic, complex, collaborative environment
  • Candidates must have existing relationships with contacts in the industry
  • Great interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing and able to work under tight deadline pressures
  • Strong editorial judgment and a passion for business news and current events
