Contract Talent Acquisition Scheduling Coordinator
Virgin Galactic is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to assist a high-volume Talent Acquisition team. Talent Acquisition will support our recruiting team that is responsible for direct hire, contractor hiring and our intern program. We are looking for someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to support our TA Partners with scheduling and other TA operations functions.
TA Ops Generalist will be the liaison between the candidate and the hiring leader during the scheduling process. The candidate and hiring leader experience is your top priority to ensure strong candidate engagement throughout the process. This position requires relentless attention to detail to ensure the best experience for our internal hiring leaders and candidates.
Responsibilities
Scheduling & Recruiter Support • Interview scheduling for virtual or onsite interviews, including, but not limited to booking interview room, ordering meals, greeting candidates onsite and ensuring the interview schedule flows smoothly. • Maintain compliance in the hiring process by ensuring all interview feedback forms are completed and uploaded to our ATS. • Open and post new requisitions for our Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure compliance with each posting. • Utilizing Monday.com scheduling portal. • Booking candidate travel and collecting receipts for travel reimbursement requests. • Post offer process liaison between People Operations team. • Support our intern program as the liaison for our New Mexico interns • Assist with planning, coordinating, scheduling events for interns. • Administrative duties as assigned. • Proper and timely completion of assigned tasks in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by the company. • Adhere to set directions and guidelines from the Manager to support collaboration across teams to complete projects.
Stake Holder Management • Develop and maintain client relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, hiring managers and contract firms. • Problem-solve and present conceptual information to TA Leadership.
Required Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Outlook and calendar management. • Ability to communicate in a manner that is timely, transparent, respectful, and open to other ideas to promote effective collaboration across teams. • High attention to detail, with strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. • Proactive approach to your work and take initiative on daily tasks and projects. • 2 + years of experience in Recruiting coordination with a strong sense of urgency in a professional environment. • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience (SAP/Successfactors & Monday.com preferred). • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with tact, and discretion.
The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity.
