Job description

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a reliable and dynamic On-Air Talent who is versatile, creative, politically savvy that enjoys participating in conversational debates with opposing viewpoints while being capable of engaging audiences in multiple Hispanic markets.

This Is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning team and work for a company that values passion, initiative, and innovation.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Perform live broadcast show that is entertaining and informative.
  • Interview personalities and guests.
  • Engage in ad lib discussions on current events and various topics with other On Air talent.
  • Gather news information (Mexico, USA, Latin America) and prepare it for on air delivery.
  • Serve as a reporter as assigned, including special reports.
  • Provide commentary and conduct interviews during "Live" transmissions, and other events.
  • Participates in regular internal meetings to review new content, topics, with Executive Producer and team.
  • Have an active presence on social media that engages the audience.
  • Develop sources and story ideas.
  • Other duties as required.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Communications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in video editing.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish communication both written and oral.
  • Must possess impeccable diction in Spanish.
  • Be creative and have great story telling and writing skills in Spanish.
  • Must be able to work well under strict deadlines and pressure.
  • Able to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
