Job Title : Web Analytics Lead
Location : Whitehouse Station, NJ
Duration : 6 months
The Web Analytics Manager must be good at grasping business concepts, analytical and technically proficient in web analytics and tagging to connect the dots between customer behaviour and business impact. The position will partner with the marketing, product, and engineering/development teams to establish and improve standards, setup tracking and evaluate campaign or and site performance.
Areas of Responsibility
• Lead the requirements gathering for tagging (marketing pixels, website events and tools) with business partners, external agencies and internal stakeholders
• Responsible for the web analytics tagging and testing process by partnering with web developers, UX agency partners and internal stakeholders to establish standard tagging practices, implementing and executing quality assurance of tags across Chubb's websites and online media
• Provide end to end Website Analytics services from tech specs, implementation, reporting, analysis & business strategy (optimization) for across all digital channels.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders and document the business requirements, solution design, and technical specification for overview of website data layer, elements/rules for validation checklist and validate the implementation.
• Manage reporting process for enterprise reporting, campaign dashboards, deep dives and ad-hoc requests
• Troubleshoot and monitor performance of 1st and 3rd party analytics tagging issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with third-party Marketing agencies for implementing marketing pixels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Google AdWords, etc.
• Ability to support analytics tag creation through scripts and custom code within Google tag management platform if needed.
• Experience with implementing and configuring web tags and pixels in Google Tag Manager to collect and distribute data across digital marketing systems.
• Support ad hoc requests for analytics insights by utilizing a combination of data visualization tools, report components, and data tables.
• Manage offshore team to accomplish tagging projects in support of larger programs like campaigns and application releases
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of web analytics experience with digital marketing and application (customer facing portals) environment required
• 5+ years of experience with web analytics process design, implementation and documentation management experience
• 5+ years of experience in web development with skills in JavaScript, HTML and JQuery.
• Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required
• Adobe Analytics and Adobe DTM /Adobe Launch experience is a nice to have
• IBM Net Insight knowledge preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of Google DoubleClick Campaign Manager and motivated to become proficient over time.
• Proven experience implementing and managing tagging across an enterprise-level site
• Proficiency with BI and visualization tools • SAS/SQL experience not required, but considered a plus
• The ability to discover, analyse and clearly communicate data insights for action.
