OVERVIEW

The Travel Retail Manager develops and executes strategies to drive sales growth, expand retail partnerships, and enhance brand presence across global travel retail channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Business Development

  • Manage and grow Casio/G‑Shock business within travel retail accounts (duty-free, airports, cruise lines).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, operators, distributors, and key partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution within global travel retail channels.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives.

Account Management & Operations

  • Conduct regular on-site visits to key accounts, including airport stores and cruise ships, to ensure optimal brand execution and product availability.
  • Oversee product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sell-through.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and replenishment.

Brand & Merchandising Execution

  • Ensure consistent and premium in-store brand presentation aligned with G‑Shock global guidelines.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards and oversee installation of displays, fixtures, and POS materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to launch travel retail–specific activations, promotions, and campaigns.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and traveler purchasing behaviors.
  • Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Support strategic planning for regional and global travel retail initiatives.

Trade Marketing & Events

  • Represent Casio/G‑Shock at travel retail trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Support retailer training programs to ensure strong product knowledge and sales performance.

Financial & Administrative

  • Manage budgets related to travel, promotions, and trade investments within assigned region.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports (sales reports, forecasts, expense reports, itineraries).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, partner agreements, and travel retail regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within travel retail, luxury goods, watches, or consumer electronics.
  • Proven track record of managing international accounts and achieving sales growth.
Key Skills
  • Strong understanding of travel retail (duty-free, airport, cruise channel dynamics).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work across cultures and manage global stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Language Skills
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a strong advantage.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
