Workers Compensation Subrogation Specialist Remote Full Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Subrogation Specialist to manage the full subrogation lifecycleโ€”from investigation through negotiation and settlement. This role focuses on identifying recovery opportunities, maximizing outcomes, and resolving moderately to highly complex workers' compensation claims. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end subrogation process using proprietary claims systems and electronic documentation Identify claims with subrogation potential and place adverse carriers on notice Negotiate settlements, including percentage-based liability when appropriate Evaluate claims for arbitration, litigation, or collections and prepare files accordingly Maintain detailed documentation, diaries, and subrogation analyses in compliance with state statutes and negligence laws Communicate professionally with carriers, attorneys, law enforcement, insureds, and internal partners Consistently meet or exceed performance goals related to recovery, quality, and timeliness Required Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of workers' compensation subrogation, including auto accidents, product liability, and job-related injuries Working knowledge of medical terminology, treatment timelines, and wage-related payments Ability to stay current on relevant case law, statutes, and industry trends Excellent phone presence, negotiation skills, and conflict management abilities Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Qualifications 5+ years of workers' compensation claims and subrogation experience, including inter-company arbitration filings High School Diploma required; college degree preferred CSRP (Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional) designation preferred Typing speed of 45+ WPM Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and claims management systems Basic accounting knowledge Spanish speaking ability is a plus Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Legal and Finance Industries Insurance, Legal Services, and Claims Adjusting, Actuarial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
