Job SummaryIdentify and investigate potential subrogation situations. Collaborate with various entities to obtain accident and injury information. Utilize subrogation software to create accounts, log case details, and update account status.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and record subrogation claims.
- Collaborate with legal, claims, and collections teams.
- Maintain accurate records in subrogation software.
- Education: Completion of continuing education courses in medical terminology and coding within one year of hire; preferred coursework in business, legal, or medical.
- Experience: Minimum two years in collections, legal, claims processing, or subrogation related field.
- Preferred: Qualified applicants within the SHP Service Area.
Must not have been excluded from participation in any federally funded program. Must immediately notify manager or Compliance Officer of any threat or actual exclusion.
