  • Establish performance expectations, KPIs, reporting standards, and service level agreements.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, audits, and file quality assessments.
  • Lead remediation efforts and continuous improvement initiatives with TPAs.

Vendor & Counsel Management
  • Manage external recovery vendors and panel counsel supporting subrogation efforts.
  • Review litigation strategies, budgets, and outcomes to ensure cost-effective recoveries.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards and ensure compliance with engagement and billing guidelines.

Financial Reporting & Analytics
  • Track and report on subrogation performance, including gross and net recoveries, cycle time, and conversion rates.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate recovery posting, allocation, and reconciliation.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual requirements related to subrogation.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and strong internal controls.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance on complex or disputed recovery matters.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in claims and subrogation/recovery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing carrier-managed and TPA-managed claims.
  • Strong knowledge of subrogation principles, liability analysis, negotiation, and litigation management.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor and TPA relationships with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with complex or high-severity claims.
  • Experience in multi-jurisdictional or multinational claims programs.
  • Professional designation (e.g., CPCU, AIC, SCLA) or advanced degree.
  • Familiarity with modern claims management systems and recovery analytics.

What We Offer
  • Opportunity to lead a high-impact recovery function with visibility to senior leadership.
  • Collaborative environment with Claims, Legal, Finance, and Underwriting partners.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and career development opportunities.
