We are looking for a Senior Subcontracts Managerto join the team! TheSenior Subcontracts Managerassists in moderately complex and routine subcontract administration functions to include review and negotiation of agreements, subcontracts and other contractually related documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for all aspects of subcontract formation and administration

  • Support general procurement activities as required

  • Evaluates requirements and prepares RFQ/RFP's including assignation correct prime contract flow-down provisions

  • Evaluates subcontractor proposals including analyzing exceptions to terms, performing risk assessments and cost or price analysis as necessary

  • Develops negotiation strategy and negotiates and awards subcontracts

  • Produces and maintains all subcontract records

  • Develops and documents small business plans in accordance with government regulations

  • Monitors performance of subcontractors, negotiates changes and performs closeout on subcontracts in accordance with company procedures

  • Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external customers

  • Prepares and negotiates other agreements when requested

  • Assists in updating department policies and procedures and contractual documents, including research of current regulations and laws

  • Participate in special projects as needed

  • Frequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of data

Qualifications & Competencies

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DCAA and other agency regulations

  • Familiar with DCAA audits

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work independently and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills

  • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field

  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a BS degree

  • Additional specific government contract management education or certifications a plus

  • Eight (8) plus years of experience in various types of subcontracts for complex items or R&D under federal government contracts, including cost-type and fixed price

Salary Range:

$96,600.00-$128,800.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
