Job description

The group you'll be a part of
The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.
The Global Operations AI team is a newly formed, high-impact organization within Lam Research's Global Operations business unit. The team is responsible for defining, continuously evolving, and deploying the AI/ML/Automation roadmap across Global Operations in close partnership with Lam's Enterprise AI office. Our mission is to drive measurable business outcomes by scaling AI-enabled solutions across Lam's global operations ecosystem.
The impact you'll make
We are seeking a Principal Program Management Lead to own the end-to-end coordination, governance, and execution cadence of the Global Operations AI portfolio. This role provides portfolio-level leadership across all GOPs AI initiatives, ensuring disciplined intake, prioritization, execution tracking, financial transparency, and value realization across a growing set of AI deployments and builds.
What you'll do
AI Portfolio & Program Leadership
  • Own the integrated GOPs AI portfolio, coordinating across all AI/ML/Automation initiatives, deployments, and builds.
  • Establish and run standardized use case intake, evaluation, prioritization, and sequencing processes in partnership with Global Operations leaders and the Enterprise AI office.
  • Maintain portfolio level visibility into roadmap status, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource alignment.
  • Drive execution rigor across initiatives by aligning individual program plans into a cohesive portfolio delivery view.

Governance, Cadence & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Design and lead portfolio level governance structures, including operating cadence, executive reviews, and decision checkpoints.
  • Coordinate cross functional stakeholders across Global Operations, AI/ML/Automation TPMs, Operations TPMs, Enterprise AI, IT, and Finance.
  • Own meeting planning, agendas, materials, action tracking, and follow up to ensure decisions are documented and executed.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination to resolve cross initiative dependencies, conflicts, and prioritization tradeoffs.

Financial Management & Value Realization
  • Partner closely with the Financial Analyst to define, track, and report value realization (ROI) for all GOPs AI initiatives.
  • Support portfolio level budget planning, allocation, and tracking, ensuring alignment between investment, delivery progress, and realized value.
  • Establish consistent frameworks for benefit definition, KPI tracking, and post deployment value measurement.
  • Provide transparent reporting on portfolio performance, investment efficiency, and outcome realization to executive stakeholders.

Execution Enablement & Continuous Improvement
  • Enable consistent execution standards, templates, and best practices across AI programs and TPMs.
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, or systemic risks across the portfolio and drive corrective actions.
  • Capture lessons learned and evolve portfolio management, governance, and delivery processes as the AI program scales.
  • Support leadership with clear, concise executive communications and data driven insights.

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 15+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 12+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
  • 12+ years of experience in program, portfolio, or operations management within complex, cross functional environments.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise scale portfolios involving technology, data, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong program and portfolio management capabilities, including intake governance, prioritization, dependency management, and executive reporting.
  • Experience partnering with Finance on ROI modeling, budget management, and value realization tracking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels.
  • Ability to bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to ambiguous, fast moving environments.
  • Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, supply chain, or complex global operations environments preferred.
