Project Manager – Large-Scale Commercial Construction

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial construction projects in Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor that values long-term employee retention, a collaborative culture, and delivering high-quality projects.

The ideal candidate has successfully managed commercial construction projects exceeding $60 million from preconstruction through closeout. Experience with hospitality projects is highly desirable, and tribal/casino construction experience is a significant plus, though not required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project execution.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure project success.
  • Oversee contract administration, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs and forecasts to maintain financial performance.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and client expectations.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining schedule and budget goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and/or major renovation commercial projects valued at $60M+.
  • Hospitality construction experience is highly preferred.
  • Tribal or casino construction experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
