This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–3 years of direct experience calling on Albertsons who is ready to continue developing their account management skills. The Key Account Manager will partner closely with senior account leadership to drive sales, execute customer strategies, and support day-to-day account operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the management and growth of Albertsons account across sales, planning, and executionPrepare and maintain customer-specific reporting, including sales performance, promotional results, and distribution trackingAssist with customer presentations, line reviews, ad planning, and item setupManage promotional details including pricing, funding, forecasts, and post-event analysisCoordinate with internal teams (sales operations, supply chain, finance, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of customer initiativesTrack and follow up on key action items, timelines, and deliverables tied to Albertsons programsMaintain accurate account records, forecasts, and customer dataDevelop a strong working knowledge of Albertsons systems, processes, and merchandising expectationsQualifications2–3 years of experience calling on Albertsons, either directly or in a support roleBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and customer dataProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with syndicated data is a plusExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel as required (e.g., for client meetings, trade shows)Self-starter mindset with a desire to grow within account managementPreferred QualificationsExperience working with major retail chains, key account managers or national accountsFamiliarity with grocery retail dynamics and promotional planningCollaborative, team-oriented approach with a customer-first mindsetComfortable working cross-functionally and managing deadlinesBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusReporting RelationshipThis position reports to the Director of Strategic AccountsCompensation: Competitive base salary commission/bonus structure, commensurate with experience and performance.
