IDEX Advanced Flow Solutions in Oklahoma City, OK seeks an experienced Market Development Manager, Strategic Accounts, Oil & Gas to support this growth-focused business unit.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell pump and compressor solutions to strategic markets, primarily for new product technology solutions targeted to the oil and gas and propane terminal markets
  • Execute internal and external sales activity: prospect for new accounts, secure meetings, determine customer needs, deliver sales presentations, negotiate pricing, overcome objections, and close sales
  • Utilize and become proficient in the AFS sales funnel process to pursue leads and opportunities
  • Partner with integrators, distributors, and other relevant industry firms to identify and execute opportunities within target markets
  • Build product expertise in Corken Compressor and Propane Miser™ technology
  • Build market knowledge by attending trade shows, participating in professional groups, and studying industry data and information
  • Present at industry functions, training sessions, and similar events
  • Refine product value proposition and partner with marketing to develop compelling product messaging and promotional strategies
  • Refine existing go-to-market strategy for strategic markets
  • Work with cross-functional teams to inform development of new products and technologies and/or needed product changes based on customer needs and wants
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • B.S. Marketing, B.S. Engineering, and/or MBA required.
  • 7 or more years sales or cross-functional team building experience with B2B Industrial Products required.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Industry required.
  • Experience with compressor products preferred.
  • Experience with sales funnels and strategic selling methods preferred.

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with sales hunting mindset to secure new business and opportunities

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Travel:
  • 25% to 50% travel typically in North America

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $120,900.00 - $181,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
