Job description

Under general supervision and working within a team setting, this full-time position requires heavy production skills, ability to multi-task, co-create design & F/F/E packages, complete 3D renderings, and manage small commercial tenant projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform space planning for tenant specific, as well as, standardized spec projects
  • Produce construction documents for pricing/permitting in accordance to building, energy and accessibility codes while using Vizio and AutoCAD programs
  • Developing and documenting designs, details, schedules and specifications.
  • Field measure buildings to confirm accuracy of plans, obtain current information of Boxers facility inventory/furniture and input into software
  • Assist senior staff by selecting finishes, furniture, artwork for a broad range of projects
  • Ensure appropriate department/ tenant involvement
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge and Education:

  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with vendors
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
  • Experience as a facilitator, and/or liaison skills between parties regarding building facility projects highly desirable
  • Architecture or Interior Design or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years experience at an architectural/design firm required
  • (Photoshop & Illustrator), Excel, Word, and other computer software

Additional Requirements:

  • Successfully pass pre-employment screening
  • Employee must have reliable transportation to and from work each day
