Job Title: Move Coordinator (Relocation)

Department: Client Services

Reports To: Client Service Supervisor

Role Summary


The Move Coordinator ensures smooth relocations, maintains client satisfaction, and adheres to contractual standards.


Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Transferee Interaction: Initiate contact with transferees, provide essential move process information, and follow up to confirm or update details throughout the move.

10 Call Policy: Adhere to the 10-call policy for every move (see 10-Call Policy).

Building Relationships: Develop positive working relationships with each National Account, anticipating and responding to clientsโ€™ and transfereesโ€™ needs promptly and efficiently.

Understanding Contracts: Thoroughly understand all aspects of each National Account contract to ensure each move adheres to the accountโ€™s specific needs.

Compliance and Coordination: Interact with various teams, including Branch offices, Planning, National Sales, Rating, and Risk Management, to ensure compliance with account standards.

Proactive Approach: Work proactively to meet Budd Van Lines standards, responding immediately to inquiries related to claim status and account billing.

Communication: Communicate account/client satisfaction and service issues to all necessary parties.

Data Integrity: Maintain complete move files, recording all correspondence, authorizations, concerns, and special client needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: 5 years of Customer Service and/or Moving Experience.

Computer Proficiency: Ability to type 35 WPM and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
