Job description

Responsible for ensuring that the resident move-in processis coordinated effectively and that residents and their families are fullyinformed and experience a high level of customer service in this process.Responsible for ensuring that the residents and the property comply withIndiana Rental Housing Tax Credit Program. This includes responsibility forcompliance oversight for Move-Ins, Annual Recertifications, and StateReporting.
Job Duties/Responsibilities :
  • Take inquiry calls from hospitals,families, etc., and provide quality appointments to include warm-up,presentation, tour and closing
  • Maintain model rooms for touringpurposes, pending bed availability, daily
  • Ensure that responses to inquiriesare handled properly, timely and with appropriate follow-up
  • Follow up, to include telephonecontact, personal correspondence, and on-site appointments with family members
  • Communicate closely with theDirector of Marketing
  • Maintain a close workingrelationship with The Leadership Team to ensure appropriate and efficientdecisions about prospective move-ins
  • Know unit availability at all times.When move-in determinations are made, works with Nursing and EnvironmentalServices on appropriate unit selection
  • Actively participate in dailymorning meetings when asked, to alert appropriate staff members of projected move-ins
  • Fulfill assigned duties in quarterlymarketing plan
  • Exhibit excellent customer serviceskills at all times
  • Stay current onchanges/modifications to Indiana Rental Housing Tax Credit Program
  • Ensure that resident/applicant filesare in compliance under the guidelines that are governed by Indiana RentalHousing Tax Credit program
  • Continue training with the IndianaRental Housing Tax Credit Program Compliance
  • Process, verify, and document all incomeand asset information for resident move-ins and annual recertifications
  • Submit all annual reports to IHCDA
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Qualifications/Skills :
  • Education or previous experience inthe healthcare field is desirable
  • Has knowledge of and specialsensitivity to the needs of the aging
  • Projects a confident, creditableprofessional image. Able to communicate effectively with potential residentsand family members
  • Strong knowledge of reimbursementprograms from payer sources and managed care referral processes
  • Ability to understand advertising,collateral material design/layout/production is desirable
  • Is a good listener and demonstratesempathy toward others
  • Communicate effectively, both orallyand in writing
  • Ability to form working relationshipswith multiple and varied people and organizations and can relate professionallywith all levels of facility staff
  • Demonstrate self-confidence andcreativity
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, andable to work independently
  • Ability to define problems, collectdata, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to maintain regular,punctual attendance, and to be flexible in work time; scheduling occasionalevenings and weekends, as needed. Availability for weekend on-call responsibilities

  • Must meet the state's licensingrequirements for the class of the vehicle being operated and have a validlicense
