Job description

SUMMARY: To assist Returns Supervisor to insure a smooth work flow throughout the Returns Processing Area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Orient and train new employees on Returns Processing Area procedures and RF units;
  • Monitor work flow throughout processing area, including pallet area, processing, flow racks, mezzanine, Sorts, and FRC's as assigned by Leads or Supervisor.
  • Monitor work flow and move employees with direction of supervisor and/or lead to efficiently manage work load;
  • Oversee any areas that could become problems and report them to the supervisor and/or lead;
  • Monitor performance under direction of supervisor and/or lead, with attention to quality, productivity and teamwork;
  • Assist associates with questions in all areas of returns.
  • Special projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Proven work record consisting of high productivity;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to work well along and with others;
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks;
  • Good attendance record;
  • Ability to work overtime as required;
  • Strong knowledge of Returns operations;
  • Strong RF knowledge/skills;
  • Must currently have or be able to achieve certification on all power equipment;
  • Some knowledge of WMS system;
  • Leadership skills helpful.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant warehouse and/or supervisory experience.
