Overview of position:

We are looking for a CSSP Engineer/Architect, Journeyman to work in Indianapolis, IN.

An active Top-Secret clearance and United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide CSSP engineering support for security infrastructure operations
  • Support monthly vulnerability scanning achieving 100% site scan compliance
  • Support IAVA-related processing and management
  • Implement STIG compliance achieving 100% compliance (or documented POA&M/AOR)
  • Assist with security hardware and software deployment
  • Support vulnerability scanning system operations
  • Assist with ESS management and threat processing
  • Document security configurations and changes
  • Support protocol monitoring of logs achieving 100% documentation per CSIRP
  • Coordinate with senior engineers on complex security issues

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years cybersecurity or IT infrastructure experience
  • DoD 8140 Cyber Defensive Infrastructure Support Specialist (Intermediate) qualification
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
  • Knowledge of DISA STIG implementation
  • Familiarity with endpoint security solutions
  • Understanding of IAVA/vulnerability management processes
  • Experience with security documentation
  • Knowledge of DoD security requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP-ISSEP certification (upgrade path)
  • Experience with DFAS security infrastructure
  • Prior DoD CSSP experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:

  • Cyber Defensive Infrastructure Support Specialist (Intermediate)
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent

Clearance:

  • Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
