Job description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for a position at the Ocala, FL facility.
What You Will Be Doing
The candidate will be responsible for developing, applying, modifying, and maintaining Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) Common Processes that are aligned with the AS9100 Quality Management System, Program and Customer requirements and objectives. This role requires interfacing with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, project managers, and customers. The candidate must work well in a team environment, have excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with minimum guidance. The expectation is to quickly come up to speed with the SSQE work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Review and approve systems, software and test equipment, design and test documentation for compliance to requirements.
Evaluate data to identify systemic issues and trends.
Knowledge of causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex, and implementing effective corrective actions.
Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.
Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
