ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible to ensure all customer orders are accurate, properly packed, and ship on time. This is accomplished through overseeing and assigning various job duties to 6 subordinates on 3 shifts. In addition the position is required to train all department personnel on the required documentation, following all established policies and procedures, adhering to all documented S.O.P.'s, developing new or revised documentation when necessary, and following all established safety protocols at all times. Pay Rate: $25.93

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Manager: Describe the main activities that the role must achieve. Focus on essential functions and accomplishments. This information will be included in the job posting and should not be a list of daily tasks. The safety oriented bullet will be included in all job descriptions (Maximum 10 bullet points in total)

  • Coordinate all daily Shipping activities with 6 onsite Shipping subordinates.
  • Develop critical packaging infrastructure to enhance and improve associated costs.
  • Maintain flexible scheduling to work amongst three shifts with allocated time as required.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping of all incoming and outgoing orders for both customers and vendors alike.
  • Plan and communicate goals and objectives to improve operations for efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • H.S. Diploma
  • EHS training, CPR/First Aid certified, Logistics training, MAPICS experience, etc. (preferred)
  • Shipping and/or Logistics experience 1-2 years.
  • Forklift experience loading and unloading trucks
  • Leadership experience to provide direction and guidance.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection

       Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be

       clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
