DAILY WORK AS OUR WAREHOUSE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING COORDINATOR:

Your main focus will be on maintaining our efficient, accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory transaction activities. You'll bridge the gap between the customer experience, supply chain, production, quality, and warehouse teams, effectively communicating with all roles to ensure the timely movement of raw materials and finished goods. This role coordinates timely inbound/outbound shipments, manages sales orders, and promptly informs stakeholders about any delays. During all activities, you'll maintain accurate receipts, transaction records, and documentation in our ERP system to support company organization and compliance.

Every day, you'll generate and distribute shipping and order-status reports, explaining delayed or unshipped orders when needed. If customers return an order, you'll promptly process the return and complete required documentation. Accuracy is a key part of the role, and you'll review shipping/receiving documents, carrier appointments, delivery schedules, and more to prevent errors. Supporting efficient operations, you'll check drivers in and out, audit sales orders/transactions for accuracy, coordinate daily dock schedules, and prioritize shipments based on need/urgency. You'll work with the warehouse team to keep activities accurate, identifying areas for improvement and developing new strategies to enhance our shipping and receiving operations!


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to complete high-quality work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Logical problem-solving skills

Our ideal Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Coordinator has at least 3 years of experience using an ERP, 2 years of related transportation or administrative experience, or has worked in a manufacturing/distribution environment. Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP would also be a bonus.
