Become a Key Player as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

You will support the organization’s inbound and outbound logistics to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time. You will work onsite in Simi Valley, CA on a first shift schedule (M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm) and interact with internal teams, carriers, and export partners to keep freight moving and records current.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Create shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, and address labels for outbound shipments
  • Secure, identify, and maintain inventory accessibility for authorized personnel
  • Coordinate outbound freight with carriers and audit export shipments (AES international shipping)
  • Confirm delivery completion in the business system and communicate status to stakeholders
  • Support traffic, logistics coordination, and contract administration
  • Follow safety policies and procedures and meet production schedules and deadlines
  • Provide regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may work nights, weekends, or additional hours as required
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Dangerously good experience in shipping & receiving operations
  • Customer portal experience and team planner proficiency
  • AES international shipping experience
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (1–2 years indicated as required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeships a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
