Job description

Our client is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to support daily inbound and outbound material flow in a precision manufacturing facility. The role focuses on accurate receiving, ERP transactions, packaging, labeling, carrier coordination, and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily shipping and receiving activities
  • Receive and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Inspect incoming material for accuracy and visible damage
  • Enter receipts and inventory movements into the ERP system
  • Label, track, and route materials to appropriate jobs and travelers
  • Package and prepare outgoing shipments
  • Create packing lists, bills of lading, and related documentation
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers
  • Communicate material status to Planning, Quality, and Production
  • Maintain organized locations for raw material, work in process, and finished goods
  • Maintain packaging supplies
  • Support end-of-month shipping volume
  • Maintain traceability and documentation
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic ERP or inventory-system experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
