Logistics Shipping Coordinator Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Logistics & SAP Shipping Coordinator in Port Neches, TX.  The Coordinator will serve as a liaison between manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure finished products are shipped safely, accurately and on time. This role requires a minimum of 1 year in quality assurance within a chemical, petrochemical, rubber, polymer or industrial manufacturing.

Location: Port Neches, TX
Shift: M-F 8-5pm
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented Logistics & SAP Shipping Coordinator to support shipping operations while ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory transactions within SAP. This role serves as the liaison between manufacturing, customer service, transportation providers, and warehouse operations to ensure finished products are shipped safely, accurately, and on time.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial environment, possess strong SAP experience (Sales & Distribution and/or Materials Management), and thrive in a fast-paced logistics operation.
Essential Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and outbound shipments utilizing SAP.
• Create and maintain shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, certificates of analysis (COAs), commercial invoices, and export documentation.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with third-party carriers, freight brokers, rail providers, and logistics partners.
• Schedule inbound and outbound transportation while optimizing freight costs and on-time delivery performance.
• Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate SAP transactions for goods receipts, goods issues, transfers, and shipment confirmations.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Manufacturing to ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or transportation issues to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, freight claims, and transportation issues.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, hazardous material shipping requirements, and company safety procedures.
• Generate shipping and logistics reports while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Support month-end inventory reconciliation and logistics reporting activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on transportation, inventory accuracy, and SAP process optimization.

Required Qualifications.

• 1 year of logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience within manufacturing.
• Hands-on SAP experience required (ECC or S/4HANA preferred).
• Experience with:
  • SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
  • SAP Materials Management (MM)
  • Inventory transactions
  • Shipping documentation
• Strong understanding of transportation coordination and freight management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
