Production / Inventory Coordinator

North Charleston, SC 29418
$25/hr
Full-Time | 12-Month Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a Production / Inventory Coordinator to support material flow and production operations. This role ensures materials are properly tracked, moved, and available to maintain production schedules while coordinating across teams to prevent delays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Move materials between storage, production, and other locations to support workflow
  • Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and ensure parts availability
  • Track and communicate material and production status using systems and manual reporting
  • Identify and resolve material discrepancies using established procedures
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and expedite production activities
  • Follow standard work instructions and maintain production flow
  • Support inventory control and production scheduling efforts

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in production, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and work under general supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Shift: All Shifts
  • 100% onsite in North Charleston, SC
  • Must be able to:
    • Operate a forklift
    • Lift up to 35 lbs
    • Stand/walk for extended periods, including occasional stairs
