Responsibilities:
  • Ensure continuous material flow by moving and tracking production and non-production materials across storage, production, and operational areas following standard work instructions
  • Monitor work-in-process (WIP) to maintain production continuity and identify potential delays
  • Communicate material and part status using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and manual reporting tools to ensure availability
  • Identify and resolve material discrepancies using established procedures
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, expedite, and complete production activities to meet schedule commitments
  • Support production goals while operating under general supervision

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED (vocational training or Associate degree preferred)
  • 2+ years working with cross-functional/internal stakeholders
  • 2+ years in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), materials management, supply chain, or production control within an aviation environment
  • 2+ years experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP - Systems, Applications & Products)
  • Experience with material tracking, WIP monitoring, and production support systems
  • Exposure to process improvement or Lean principles
  • Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, overtime, and rotating schedules

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting non-production materials, tooling, and shop supplies in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with schedule and budget management, logistics integration, and program planning execution
  • Familiarity with commercial derivative aircraft platforms
  • Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and perform frequent physical activities (standing, walking, climbing, bending, unloading materials)
