NOW HIRING: SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATES IN NEWPORT NEWS, VA!
Position: Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pay: $15-$17/hour based on experience
Shifts: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The Lee Group is seeking Shipping & Receiving Associates for an immediate opportunity with a well-established company in Newport News, VA . This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for candidates who enjoy detailed work, consistent processes, and a structured, clean environment. If you take pride in doing things right the first time, we want to hear from you!
You'll be working in a well-organized shipping area, independently completing tasks like measuring, packing, sorting, and staging with precision. All tools, training, and systems are provided so you can succeed from day one.
Key Responsibilities of Shipping & Receiving Associates
  • Read work orders and verify serial numbers for 100% accuracy
  • Measure box dimensions using a tape measure and input data into a computer
  • Operate automated packing equipment to cut tape and print labels
  • Package outbound materials properly and complete packing workflows
  • Receive and sort inbound items into assigned areas
  • Use an electric pallet jack to move materials (no forklift required)
  • Repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations
  • Take initiative to stay productive during slower periods

Job Requirements for Shipping & Receiving Associates
