The Shipping Associate I supports shipping and receiving operations by ensuring the accurate and timely movement of products and materials. This role contributes to efficient warehouse operations through order fulfillment, inventory support, quality verification, and adherence to shipping procedures. The position helps maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while supporting daily distribution activities. Success in this role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to operational accuracy.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the shipment of finished goods and the receipt of incoming materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Monitor and report inventory shortages, damages, and discrepancies while supporting inventory control activities.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of outgoing orders in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, participate in physical inventories, and perform additional shipping and receiving duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
  • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge of shipping processes, carriers, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Forklift certification or forklift operating experience.
