Job description

2 Towns is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Assistant to join our diverse team. The Shipping & Receiving Assistant is responsible for performing various warehouse duties, including receiving, shipping, record keeping, and using forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks efficiently.
The Shipping & Receiving Assistant will assist with monthly inventory counts, maintain accurate inventory records, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with our logistics team. They will work closely with the Warehouse Lead to ensure daily tasks are completed before orders ship or production and packing receive the materials needed to complete their tasks.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dedicated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has an appetite for growth. This role is responsible for staging duties that may include receiving materials, preparing and staging items to be shipped, organizing incoming products, stocking products, picking/pulling products, and allocating orders efficiently and effectively. Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • 21 years or older
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable driving and able to safely drive larger vehicles (no semis)
  • Able to lift 50lbs, and able to laterally move 154lbs, by hand or with a hand truck
  • Able to kneel and stoop occasionally

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (4/10)
Training Schedule: The training schedule applies to schedules that are not typically from Monday to Friday. During their first four weeks of training, employees are expected to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. After this period, they will transition to their regular schedule from 7:00 am to 5:30 PM, Wednesday through Saturday.
Compensation & Benefits: Starting Wage = $17.85/hr.
