Job description

Shipping & Receiving Associate

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00/hour

Schedule: 6a-2:30p

Location: Medina, Ohio

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing shipments, receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are packaged and shipped safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have previous shipping and receiving experience, strong attention to detail, and experience using shipping software platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Process outgoing shipments using UPS WorldShip and FedEx shipping systems
  • Prepare, package, wrap, label, and box products for shipment
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and deliveries
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift
  • Verify shipment accuracy and maintain shipping documentation
  • Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving area
  • Assist with inventory control and stock movement throughout the facility
  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely shipments
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping and receiving experience required
  • Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx shipping systems required
  • Experience with StarShip shipping software is a plus
  • Current forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified)
  • Experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
