Title: Temp Shipping
Location: Rockdale, IL
Shift: 1st shift- Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Pay: $18/hour
Job Description:
This position is responsible for duties connected with the receiving of raw materials and the shipping of finished products. The operation of a forklift truck while performing these duties is required when performing many of these duties. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure the process is as efficient and safe as possible.
Major Functions and Tasks:
  • Preparing finished goods or materials for shipment to customers or other facilities.
  • Check-in and verify accuracy of materials brought to shipping from other areas in the plant.
  • Prepare product and containers to be put into inventory and/or shipped.
  • Accurately make and apply labels to appropriate containers for inventory and/or shipment.
  • Operation of forklift in obtaining finished product from warehouse inventory and movement of prepared orders to the staging area at the Shipping dock. Loading of carrier’s trucks with product for shipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of driving a forklift (sit-down amp; stand up).
  • Maintain good attendance.
