Job Description

The Opportunity:ย 

CapTech is seeking an experiencedย SaaSย platformย engineerย to play a senior, hands-on role in the engineering, administration, and evolution of our enterprise application ecosystem.ย 

This is not a traditional "support-only" role. You will serve as aย technical owner and subject matter expertย for critical SaaS and cloud platforms, driving automation, security, scalability, and user experience improvements across the organization. You'll partner closely with ITย Operations,ย InfoSec, and Business teams to design solutions that scaleย and you'll have the autonomy to influence tooling, architecture, and operational standards.ย

What You'll Do:ย 

  • Act as aย senior technical ownerย for a portfolio of SaaS and select onpremises platforms supporting CapTech employeesย 
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implementย AI-enabled toolsย that improve productivity, support, and operational insightย 
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve application configurations, integrations, and access modelsย 
  • Lead automation initiatives (AI Agents,ย PowerShell, APIs, workflows) to streamline provisioning, access management, audits, and operational processesย 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Copilot)ย 
  • Design and manage SSO integrations usingย SAML and OIDC, ensuring secure and consistent access patternsย 
  • Partner with Security and IT Leadership to enforceย leastprivilege access, governance controls, and audit readinessย 
  • Influence change management practices alignedย with ITIL, balancingย agility and stabilityย 
  • Analyze trends, risks, and usage patterns across platforms to inform roadmap decisionsย 
  • Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, documentation, and best practicesย 
Qualifications

Experience & Expertise:ย 

  • 5+ years supporting and administering complexย cloud-based SaaS environmentsย in professional or enterprise settingsย 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as aย trusted technical advisor andย escalation pointย 
  • Advanced experience administering:ย Microsoft 365 (including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, and Copilot), Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, GitHub (source control, automation workflows, CI/CD enablement), Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Snowflake (platform administration), Databricks (platform administration)ย 
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skillsย 
  • Comfort working in macOS and Windows CLI environmentsย 
  • Deep understanding of identity, authentication, and authorization modelsย 
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, author clear documentation, and translate business needs into workable technical solutionsย
