Job description

Job Summary
The Senior Revenue Manager is responsible for consulting with assigned hotels to optimize room inventory, pricing, and distribution strategies to maximize revenue and RevPAR performance. This role manages a larger and more complex portfolio of hotels and offerings, applying advanced revenue management principles, analytics, and market insights to drive results.
The Senior Revenue Manager leverages Choice tools, systems, and procedures to develop and execute both strategic and tactical revenue initiatives based on demand, competitive positioning, and channel performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role influences key decision-makers, leads revenue strategy discussions, and contributes to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Choice Revenue Management (ChoiceRM) program.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and optimize guest room inventory and pricing strategies for assigned hotels, driving RevPAR growth through demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and disciplined channel management.
  • Analyze market conditions, booking trends, competitive intelligence, and demand drivers-including groups, conventions, and citywide events-to inform pricing and distribution decisions.
  • Deliver actionable insights through daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reporting, translating data into clear recommendations for hotel partners.
  • Lead Revenue Strategy Meetings with hotel stakeholders, effectively communicating performance results, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary liaison between hotels and internal Choice teams, aligning revenue strategies with brand standards and commercial objectives.
  • Leverage enterprise systems and tools, including Salesforce, Lanyon, and Choice revenue management platforms, to support strategy execution and identify marketing and promotional opportunities.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide revenue management initiatives and special projects, collaborating cross-functionally to advance Choice's overall revenue strategy.
  • Support the continuous improvement and evolution of the ChoiceRM program by sharing best practices, insights, and feedback from the field.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Revenue Manager, or in business, consulting, financial analysis, or revenue analytics-focused role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Revenue Management Certification (CHRM or CRME) is required for all Choice Revenue Management team members. Candidates not currently certified must obtain certification within the first year of employment.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles, methodologies, tools, and industry-standard performance metrics and reporting.
  • Experience managing revenue strategies across multiple properties preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), distribution platforms, GDS systems, and ecommerce channels preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, extract insights, and translate findings into actionable revenue strategies.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex business challenges using data-driven analysis.
  • Ability to clearly articulate revenue strategies, rationale, and execution plans to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective listener with strong observation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade decision-makers at multiple organizational levels through analysis and insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining operational excellence.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $86,886 - 102,219.
