This is a key position responsible for driving revenue performance, enhancing profitability, and shaping pricing strategies across all market segments. The Hotel Revenue Manager is responsible for leading revenue optimisation initiatives across all distribution channels, ensuring maximum room revenue, occupancy, and overall profitability. This role requires a data-driven approach, combining market insight, demand forecasting, and pricing strategy to support business objectives and drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximise revenue across all distribution channels.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and internal performance data to identify revenue opportunities and risks.
  • Oversee daily inventory management and rate adjustments using revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and channel management tools.
  • Prepare and present revenue reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure rate accuracy and parity across online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and direct booking platforms.
  • Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure alignment.
  • Produce accurate demand forecasts for rooms and ancillary revenue streams.
  • Monitor and manage group versus transient business mix to optimise profitability.
  • Drive channel optimisation strategies to reduce distribution costs and increase direct bookings.
  • Identify and leverage revenue opportunities during low-demand periods and high-demand events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in revenue management or a similar analytical role within the hospitality sector.
