Senior Process Engineer | Henderson, Kentucky | Full-Time

I'm recruiting a Senior Process Engineer for a well-established manufacturing operation in Henderson, KY. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with real ownership over process improvement, automation, and capital projects from concept through commissioning.

What You'll Own

Process Improvement

  • Lead process design, scale-up, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Improve yield, throughput, quality, reliability, and cost
  • Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues
  • Drive safety and operational performance improvements

Automation & Controls

  • Design and improve automated process control systems
  • Work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
  • Support SCADA, HMI, and real-time monitoring systems
  • Participate in automation upgrades and Industry 4.0 initiatives

Capital Projects

  • Lead projects from concept through commissioning
  • Develop equipment specs and support vendor selection
  • Manage contractors, schedules, and budgets
  • Build ROI and payback justifications for capital investments

What We Need

  • Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years in a manufacturing or chemical environment
  • Proven capital project leadership
  • Hands-on PLC, automation, and process controls experience
  • SCADA and HMI experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with EtherNet/IP, Modbus, or Profibus
  • Nice to Have:
