We are seeking a dynamic Senior Process Improvement Engineer to spearhead operational excellence within our manufacturing value stream. In this role, you'll lead, coach, and develop a specific production area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met while cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Manufacturing Operations
  • Lead and optimize performance within a designated production area, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Oversee maintenance, continuous improvement, and overall efficiency of equipment across production lines and fabrication areas
  • Support the Operations Manager and coordinate daily production start-up to ensure lines are operational, properly staffed, and running smoothly
  • Monitor and analyze production and fabrication data to identify performance gaps and ensure effective communication across shifts
  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and standardized work to maintain process stability
  • Coach equipment operators and Team Leaders to ensure adherence to established processes and standards

Continuous Improvement
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis to address inefficiencies within the production area
  • Facilitate kaizen events and implement countermeasures to improve manufacturing line performance
  • Champion the Appliance Production System and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Leadership & Administration
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies, procedures, and work rules
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to plan and execute long-term equipment and process improvement projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll, disciplinary documentation, and other administrative responsibilities
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and disciplinary matters

Quality & Safety
  • Ensure all products meet quality specifications and uphold established quality standards across the production line
  • Lead quality reviews, track defects, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production issues
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures, proper PPE usage, leading incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions

What You'll Bring to Our Team
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with emphasis on manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and project execution
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required or in progress, preferably in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working with or leading metal fabrication and/or automated equipment operations
  • Six Sigma certification preferred, with strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proven track record of driving results using analytical problem-solving, project planning, and cross-functional teamwork
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles in an operational setting
  • Leadership experience or technical expertise in areas such as manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials management, quality, procurement, or fulfillment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, including maintaining positive union relations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level of initiative, energy, and motivation, with a commitment to team success and professional growth
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in manufacturing or operations environments
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with consistent follow-through on initiatives
  • Experience facilitating and leading team-based projects
  • Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including occasional off-shift, on-call, and weekend work
