What You'll Do
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, communicate technical information effectively, and build client relationships through professional communication.
  • Support the execution of consulting projects and assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring project design progress.
  • Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions.
  • Develop Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, and assist in the development of equipment and instrument specifications.
  • Assist in process controls design and development and perform and document technical calculations associated with design tasks.
  • Perform field work to document existing conditions and current installations.
  • Support cost estimate development, including quote solicitation from vendors, and assist in bid package documentation development.
  • Review project construction progress and participate in quality control processes to ensure engineering designs and solutions meet quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in chemical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts.
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with process plant environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
What You'll Bring Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent required
Skills and Abilities

State of Colorado Salary Range: $75,000–$78,000 per year
