Raison d'être du poste

Relevant de la cheffe d’équipe des ressources humaines, le ou la titulaire du poste sera en charge de l’ensemble du processus de traitement de la paie pour tous les sites du Groupe (Québec et Ontario), ainsi que de la gestion administrative des différents programmes d’avantages sociaux.

Responsabilités

  • Effectuer le processus complet de paie selon les politiques internes et les lois en vigueur pour tous les sites du Groupe (procéder à la paie, produire les relevés emploi, préparer et procéder les remises mensuelles de même que des saisies spéciales) ;
  • Valider, maintenir et assurer de l'exactitude des dossiers des employés dans le système d'informations des ressources humaines (WorkForce, désormais ADP) ;
  • Produire divers rapports et tableaux pour les gestionnaires et la direction ;
  • Administrer les programmes d'assurances collectives et les programmes de REER (inscription, changement, cessation, calcul, arrérage, ajustement des primes, validation, facturation, etc.) et répondre aux questions des employés ;
  • Administrer les différents programmes d'avantages sociaux (uniforme, bottes de sécurité, lunette de sécurité, etc.) ;
  • Produire et balancer les documents et rapports de fin d'année reliés au processus de la paie (vacances, T4/RL1, sommaires, CNESST, WSIB, EHT, etc.) ;
  • Répondre aux diverses questions concernant les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise ;
  • Participer à la mise en place des politiques et procédures ;
  • Avoir un intérêt à développer des modules dans un SIRH (un atout) ;
  • Apporter un support à l'équipe RH ;
  • Toutes autres tâches connexes.

Exigences d'emploi

Scolarité requise:

  • DEC/DEP en comptabilité, administration ou expériences équivalentes

Compétences techniques :

  • 1-3 ans d'expérience pertinente reliée au poste ;
  • Expérience avec un système de paie ( WorkForce maintenant ADP, un atout) ;
  • Excellente maîtrise du français (oral et écrit) et maîtrise fonctionnelle de l’anglais (oral et écrit), requise pour communiquer de façon occasionnelle avec les candidats et les employés situés à l’extérieur du Québe;
  • Posséder des connaissances d’Excel.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Human Resources Team Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the full payroll process for all Group locations across Quebec and Ontario, as well as the administration of the company's employee benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation for all Group locations, including payroll processing, Records of Employment (ROEs), monthly government remittances, and special payroll entries.
  • Maintain, validate, and ensure the accuracy of employee records within the Human Resources Information System (WorkForce, now ADP).
  • Prepare a variety of reports and data analyses for managers and senior leadership.
  • Administer the group insurance and retirement savings (RRSP) programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, calculations, arrears, premium adjustments, validations, billing, and employee inquiries.
  • Administer various employee benefit programs, including uniforms, safety boots, prescription safety glasses, and other related programs.
  • Prepare and reconcile year-end payroll documentation and statutory reports, including vacation balances, T4s, RL-1s, payroll summaries, CNESST, WSIB, Employer Health Tax (EHT), and other required filings.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate an interest in developing and enhancing HRIS modules (considered an asset).
  • Provide support to the Human Resources team.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements Education
  • College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with a payroll system (WorkForce, now ADP, is considered an asset).
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written) and functional English (spoken and written), required to communicate occasionally with employees and candidates located outside Quebec.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
