The Senior Controller is responsible for monitoring and managing the company’s financial processes. This role plays a key part in budget planning, financial analysis and reporting on business performance. Working closely with senior management, the Senior Controller supports strategic financial decisions to ensure the company’s stability and profitability.

Your TasksStrategy, Vision and Mission:
  • As Senior Controller, use your detailed financial and industry knowledge to support the management team in developing the business strategy
  • Identify and assess opportunities and risks that may affect business success
  • Define clear, achievable objectives and associated milestones
Hands-on Mentality:
  • Proactively monitor, shape and improve business processes
  • Take a direct, detail-oriented approach to work, developing practical solutions
  • Actively seek and implement solutions when faced with challenges, working in a problem-solving manner
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • In your role as Senior Controller, prepare all internal financial reports in collaboration with our external advisors
  • Prepare financial reports for the group headquarters in collaboration with our external advisors
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements together with our external advisors
  • Conduct target/actual comparisons and variance analyses
  • Develop and regularly review KPIs to ensure effective management and improvement of processes
  • Prepare financial forecasts and reports to support senior management
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop and monitor the annual budget
  • Prepare monthly budget vs. actual comparisons
  • Coordinate and consolidate budget plans from all departments
  • Review and adjust forecasts based on current business developments
Cost Control and Efficiency Improvement:
  • Analyse cost structures and identify potential savings
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction measures
  • Monitor compliance with budget targets
Financial Planning and Strategy:
  • Support the implementation of the overall group’s financial strategy
  • Conduct profitability analyses for investment projects
  • Advise management on strategic financial decisions
Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and all group policies
  • Carry out risk assessments and develop risk mitigation measures
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors

  • Commercial qualification or bachelor’s degree in finance
  • Several years of professional experience in finance is advantageous
  • Experience with relevant accounting and financial reporting software
  • Solid practical skills in using MS Office applications
