Position Summary:
We are seeking a visionary, results-driven Senior Brand Manager to lead the strategy and growth in one of our critical businesses. Key brands in the BBU portfolio include Thomas', Sara Lee, Entenmann's, Oroweat, Ball Park and Little Bites. The Senior Brand Manager operates as a true business leader, owning the end-to-end performance of the brand, from long-term strategy and innovation pipeline to in-market execution and brand management.
This individual will work closely with our leadership team, will set direction for the business, translating deep consumer, customer and market insights into bold strategies that unlock sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented, forward-thinking innovator who has experience leading brands and people. This is an opportunity to shape the future of iconic brands while delivering meaningful business impact in a fast-paced CPG environment
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead the brand and portfolio strategy, setting a clear vision and growth roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage product portfolio and proactively identify key levers to positively impact P&L. Adjust strategy as necessary to achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets.
  • Lead the development and execution of Integrated Marketing plans across all channels, including advertising, digital, in-store, and partnerships.
  • Oversee development of insight-driven innovation pipeline for branded portfolio - managing from concept through launch in market.
  • Oversee internal resources and external agencies tasked with creating effective content and campaigns.
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to direct reports.
  • Work in close partnership with Sales teams to identify whitespace opportunities and develop compelling sell-in strategies and materials.
  • Develop exceptional cross functional relationships to ensure overall commitment to portfolio.
  • Influence and align senior cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations) to deliver integrated business solutions.
  • Oversee agency partners and internal teams to deliver high-impact, insight-driven marketing programs.
  • Manage budgets and investments strategically, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor brand health and performance metrics, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Available for travel (10%)

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's level degree, preferably in business or marketing. MBA preferred.
  • A combination of education, training, and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • 10+ years marketing/category management, Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred.
  • Experience leading omnichannel programs and cross-category brand partnerships is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience driving insights from syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen, Circana) and primary/secondary research.
