Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since.Ocean Spray is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead continued growth across a high-impact portfolio within our USA Foods business, including Craisins Dried Cranberries, Cranberry Sauce, and Fresh Cranberries.
This role operates with a general manager mindset, owning both short- and long-term strategy while driving end-to-end business performance across Grocery, Mass, and Club channels. You will be accountable for delivering against revenue, profit, and brand equity goals, while shaping the future of one of Ocean Spray's most iconic portfolios.

Partner with the Senior Director and Senior Associate Brand Manager to shape the Fresh Cranberry business growth strategy, balancing supply complexity with the optimal demand opportunities
Lead cross functional teams through our FUEL stage gate process to renovate and strengthen the core Craisins offering across the Club channel
Set the strategy and guide your ABM in bringing a full-funnel Holiday Campaign to life, recruiting new buyers with our core baking occasion for Craisins while also expanding the reach of Cranberry Sauce
Work closely with a Grocery Sales Lead and your cross-functional teams to build a seasonal plan to unlock stronger display support for Cranberry Sauce and win across omni touchpoints at a major Retailer
Coach your Associate Brand Managers to break down P&Ls and consumption drivers, turning insights into smart actions that deliver strong returns for our Grower Owners

A Day in the Life...

  • General Management and P&L Ownership: Own the full P&L for the USA Foods Base Business, using a sharp read on Consumers, Customers, and Competitors to identify performance drivers and act on them to achieve business goals
  • Strategy Development: Build and drive long-term growth strategies for key segments, bringing stakeholders along and leading cross-functional teams through execution
  • Planning and Execution: Lead annual marketing plans end-to-end, from strategy to sell-in, grounded in insights and clear brand thinking to deliver results and meet our financial commitments to our Grower Owners
  • Communication and Messaging: Partner with Media, Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing, and Omni teams to develop consumer-insight led, best-in-class marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives and Marketing KPIs
  • Portfolio Management and Renovation: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to evolve our portfolio, prioritizing the right opportunities to stay relevant with Consumers and Customers
  • People Leadership: Lead and develop two direct reports, providing coaching, clear feedback, and growth opportunities, while fostering a strong, collaborative team culture

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting both quantitative (e.g. syndicated POS, panel) and qualitative datasets, and translating insights into actionable strategies
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and to coach teams to reach decisions amidst competing factors
  • Superior presentation skills, both in ability to develop compelling stories and to effectively deliver those stories to audiences at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence without authority
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, volume forecasting, annual budgeting, and key financial drivers
  • Candidate should be a self-starter who has demonstrated strong ownership and leadership capabilities in prior roles
  • 7+ years of experience in CPG Brand Management, including base and innovation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Experience within Food or Beverage CPG
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred)

At least 7 Years of Experience

Annual Salary:

$128,000 - $160,000
