You'll be responsible for setting the sales strategies and objectives, identifying sales targets, and evaluating the team's sales performance to help us achieve our sales goals. Responsibilities
โ€ข Develop new corporate, group, and local business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outside sales activities.
โ€ข Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase repeat business and maximize hotel revenue.
โ€ข Conduct hotel tours, prepare proposals and contracts, and coordinate group reservations and event details with hotel operations.
โ€ข Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals by identifying new revenue opportunities and maintaining an active sales pipeline.
โ€ข Represent the hotel within the local community by attending networking events, business functions, and industry meetings to promote the property and grow market share.
Qualifications
โ€ข Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales, hospitality, or business development experience preferred.
โ€ข Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
โ€ข Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel property management or sales systems (FOSSE, OnQ, Opera, Delphi, or similar) preferred.
โ€ข Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally for client meetings, networking events, and outside sales calls.
