Job description

Sales Development Representative (SDR) โ€“ In Person (Scottsdale, Arizona)

OMNIUX is looking for an energetic, driven, and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This is a full-time, in-person role where you will be responsible for supporting the OMNIUX sales organization by generating new business opportunities, identifying qualified prospects, building outbound relationships, and helping drive new deal flow into the company.

At OMNIUX, SDRs play a critical role in the growth of the organization.

This is not a passive lead generation position where you simply send cold emails all day. The SDR functions as the front line of the OMNIUX growth engine, helping establish relationships, create opportunities, support Account Executives, and expand the companyโ€™s presence throughout the Arizona business community and beyond.

You will work directly with Account Executives and sales leadership to identify prospects, initiate conversations, qualify opportunities, coordinate meetings, maintain CRM organization, and help build a healthy, scalable sales pipeline for the company.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup culture, enjoys communicating with people, is highly self-motivated, and wants to grow into a larger sales, business development, or leadership role over time.

The Role

The SDR at OMNIUX functions as:

  • Pipeline builder
  • Lead generation specialist
  • Outbound relationship developer
  • Prospecting coordinator
  • Business development support
  • Sales operations contributor
  • Networking and outreach representative

Your primary objective is to generate qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team while helping maintain consistent outbound activity, pipeline visibility, and relationship development across the organization.

You will support OMNIUXโ€™s growth initiatives across:

  • Marketing services
  • Branding and creative services
  • Search engine marketing
  • Website design and development
  • AI and operational technology solutions
  • Business consulting and infrastructure initiatives

This role requires strong communication skills, consistency, organization, and a willingness to operate in a fast-moving startup environment where accountability and effort matter.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify potential clients through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, research, and relationship-building activities
  • Support Account Executives by generating qualified leads and scheduling discovery meetings
  • Conduct outbound communication through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, networking events, and follow-up outreach
  • Research prospective clients, industries, and business opportunities relevant to OMNIUX services
  • Maintain consistent pipeline generation activity and outreach cadence
  • Assist in managing and updating CRM systems with accurate prospect and activity documentation
  • Coordinate with Account Executives regarding prospect status, follow-up strategy, and meeting preparation
  • Participate in networking events, business functions, and community relationship-building initiatives
  • Represent OMNIUX professionally within the Arizona business community
  • Help maintain organization and visibility across the sales pipeline
  • Follow up consistently with leads, prospects, and referral relationships
  • Contribute to outbound business development strategy discussions and pipeline growth initiatives
  • Maintain responsiveness, professionalism, and communication consistency across all prospect interactions
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools and sales technologies appropriately to improve efficiency and organization

Sales Participation & Expectations

Sales Development Representatives are expected to contribute actively to the growth and consistency of the OMNIUX sales pipeline through disciplined outreach, relationship-building, and prospecting activity.

This role requires someone who is comfortable initiating conversations, building rapport, creating opportunities, and supporting a performance-driven sales environment.

SDRs work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to:

  • Identify opportunities
  • Qualify prospects
  • Build relationships
  • Schedule meetings
  • Support proposal pipelines
  • Maintain CRM visibility
  • Increase overall sales momentum across the organization

This role also involves participation in local professional communities, networking groups, and business environments where meaningful relationships can be developed over time.

The ideal candidate understands that consistency, responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through are essential in sales and relationship-driven environments.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with business owners and decision makers
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in fast-paced and performance-driven environments
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Comfortable managing outbound outreach and relationship-building activities consistently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Account Executives and sales leadership
  • Ability to maintain accurate CRM documentation and activity tracking
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable operating in startup environments with evolving priorities and ambitious growth goals

Bonus Experience
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, hospitality, recruiting, or account support
  • Experience with outbound prospecting or lead generation
  • Existing relationships within the Arizona business community
  • Experience attending networking events or business associations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Experience selling marketing, technology, consulting, or professional services
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and relationship-building strategies
  • Experience using AI-assisted sales or productivity tools

This Role Is a Good Fit If...
  • You are highly motivated and naturally competitive
  • You enjoy building relationships and talking with people
  • You thrive in startup culture and fast-moving environments
  • You are comfortable with accountability and performance expectations
  • You want to grow into larger sales, leadership, or business development opportunities over time
  • You enjoy networking and building professional relationships
  • You are organized, responsive, and consistent
  • You are excited by the opportunity to help grow a rapidly scaling company
  • You understand that successful sales environments require urgency, effort, resilience, and adaptability
  • You want to be part of building something meaningful with long-term upside potential

This Role Is Probably Not a Good Fit If...
  • You dislike outbound communication or relationship-building
  • You struggle with consistency or follow-through
  • You require constant supervision to remain productive
  • You are uncomfortable with performance-driven environments
  • You dislike startup culture or rapidly evolving environments
  • You are unwilling to participate in networking, outreach, or business development activities
  • You prefer highly repetitive or low-accountability work environments
  • You are looking for a passive administrative position without growth expectations
  • You become discouraged easily by rejection or delayed results

Compensation

$36,000 base salary with a 5% commission on qualified deals resulting from SDR-generated opportunities (our average deal size is currently $42,000.00).

This role is designed as an entry point into long-term growth within the OMNIUX sales organization. High-performing SDRs may have opportunities to grow into Account Executive, sales leadership, or strategic business development roles over time.

Additional performance incentives and expanded compensation opportunities may become available based on contribution, consistency, and overall impact on company growth.
