OUR COMPANY:
Our Company is a SALES LEADER in the outdoor, hunting and shooting sports industry. We are a manufacturers' rep agency for several big name brands within the hunting and shooting sports industry. We handle B2B sales for quality manufacturers of modern sporting rifles and accessories, build relationships with big box and independent accounts and maximize sales for our manufacturers.
THE OUTSIDE SALES REP POSITION:
We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Rep to cover our Michigan/North Indiana territory. Our Outside Sales Rep is responsible for managing our relationships and sales of established accounts (and also build relationships with new accounts!) in the Commercial market within the territory. You will be responsible for showcasing new products, analyzing sales and sell-through metrics, develop sales promotions and strategies as well as product sales training for dealer accounts. In addition. you will provide exceptional customer service to our dealer accounts; answering their questions and problem solving when issues arise.
OUTSIDE SALES REP RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales and dealer support in the Michigan/North Indiana territory for Commercial market
  • Attend outdoor, hunting and shooting sport shows
  • Forecasting and sales analysis
  • Order tracking and order maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels
  • Sales presentation
  • Sales training
  • Execute sales promotions
  • Prepare advertising/marketing plans

OUTSIDE SALES REP POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferred
  • Currently resides in the Lansing, Michigan area or within close proximity.
  • Previous territory sales experience; required
  • Knowledge of hunting and shooting sports
  • Ability to travel to call on accounts in territory as well as out of territory shows and events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a team environment
  • Excellent data management and analytical skill accuracy
