Job description

COMPENSATION RANGE: $55,000 to $65,000 based upon experience.

THE COMPANY: OUR COMPANY IS A SALES LEADER in the outdoor sporting goods industry; acting as the manufacturers' representative for a collection of the industry's highest quality and most prestigious brands on the market.

THE SALES REP ASSISTANT POSITION:
This position will assist our team with responsibilities related to one of our top big box corporate accounts in Springfield Missouri. You will be part of a team that works with manufacturers and executes top to bottom sales strategies at the highest level! Analyzing trends, forecasting product sales and managing assortments are just a few examples of this position's day-to-day!

SALES REP ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support sales of outdoor products to national customer
  • Conduct sales forecasting and data analysis to identify trends.
  • Order tracking and order maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels
  • Sales presentation
  • Provide training and support for sales teams and retail associates.
  • Work sales promotions
  • Develop and assist in implementing advertising and marketing plans.
  • Maintain daily communication with manufacturers and retail accounts.

SALES REP ASSISTANT POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently located in the Springfield, Missouri area
  • Strong interest and true passion for the outdoors/hunting/shooting industry!
  • College Degree (Business Administration Marketing or Supply Chain/Logistics preferred)
  • Business/sales experience preferred
  • Some travel required but most travel is local (approx. 3 weeks per year)
  • Knowledge of hunting and shooting sports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically proficient with excel. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a team environment
  • Excellent data management and analytical skill accuracy
